When seventeen-year-old Abbey hears an underground club has popped up on Majestic Isle, an abandoned island amusement park, she drags her best friend, Callie, out for the night of their lives. Unfortunately, it might be the last night of their lives.
The club isn’t the haven for misfits Abbey hoped for—it’s a buffet and the club-goers are the main dish.
One by one stragglers from the gritty warehouse turned club disappear, as shadowy creatures race through the broken-down roller coasters and rusty bumper cars looking for leftovers of the human variety. Abbey and Callie search for a way off the island, but there’s no cell phone signal, the ferry is missing, and shadows are stalking them.
After surviving the initial slaughter, the girls wind up trapped in a basement, but they’re not alone. A weary, jaded drug addict is imprisoned with them and he may help them, though his help is a death sentence in itself.
No one is supposed to leave Majestic Isle alive, and escaping the island means being hunted, but with the addict’s help, Abbey finds herself the key to stopping an infestation of these creatures—creatures from another world who have an insatiable appetite for human flesh.
